Lyrics

I saw the sky
reflecting in the water
receding into blue
medallions of colour
and lapping at the stones in consolation

Cascading in an azure sparkling fountain
in rivulets and twistings down the mountain
The glacial pool resounds in exultations
below

Receding into blue

Reflecting in the water

And deep beneath the earth,
there springs another birth,
a channel yet to come to;
deep in wonder

I saw the sky
reflecting in the water
I’d never seen so pure
a paradigm of colour

colour

The sky belongs to me.
I’ve never seen the water
in quite this shade of
blue

Out standing in the water

water

What is it that I’ve found here?

What sweet, unearthly glow?

I’m never meant to know.

I don’t know why
I’ve never seen this colour;
this transcendental blue
in more pools of water

At least I didn’t really used to think
so
think
so

Standing in the
shining water,
light refracting into spectral
rainbows dancing
over chasms
hung with radiant
spires and gleaming
on

And rising to the sun
